Noble House Design has played a key role in the success story of our property, Peppers Broadbeach; a 5 Star international hotel located within The Oracle development at Broadbeach on Australia’s Gold Coast.
From our One Bedroom Ocean Suites to our Three Bedroom Sky Homes and Penthouses the Noble House designed and supplied bespoke furniture packages have provided us with a full turnkey furnished offering which has seen our properties apartments become known for their upscale modern design providing all the creature comforts of home in a very modern cutting edge design.
Furniture, fittings and equipment in hotels are really put through the ultimate robust quality assurance test limit everyday with many different shapes and sizes using the product. So whilst design and comfort are very important factors in the competitive environment of 5 Star hotels, so too is the quality and longevity of the product offering which Noble House Design provides and stands behinds across their entire furniture package range.
The company’s sales and after sales service is second to none whereby Gary and his team take a very detailed approach towards all that they do, including personally overseeing delivery and installation of everything from their large case goods to each tea spoon within the kitchen utensils, the Noble House Design really do take ownership towards exceeding their customers’ expectations.

Royal Albert Hotel is a 4 ½ star heritage listed hotel in the heart of Brisbane. During 2008 and 2009 Royal Albert Hotel underwent a refurbishment of its hotel rooms in partnership with Noble House Design. Due to the quality (and value) of the refurbishment package proposed by Noble House Design, we were able to obtain the agreement of every individual apartment owner (bar 2 that did their own thing) to proceed with the refurbishment.
The man on the ground Jeremy North can take full credit for winning this project for Noble House. His sincerity, ideas and enthusiasm were key attributes that appealed to Kristina and myself. Jeremy came up with many ideas including using historical photos of Brisbane in each room.
Jeremy was ably supported by Kay who brought her extensive international travels to bear in selecting the furniture from as far away as Ireland. Jeremy and Kay chose exquisite fabrics which suited our heritage building. Gary and Kay did regular inspections at the factory in China to tweak the designs and to ensure the quality control.
The manager of Noble House Design Gary Russell provided support for the project when required. Gary was able to allay my concerns (about paying the deposit funds without proof of ownership) by advising me that Noble House Design is 50% owned by Harvey Norman. It is rare these days to find someone whose handshake is as good as a contract but Gary is such a man.
Of course with any $800 000+ project, there are bound to be some issues and in this case there were a couple of quality control issues. This is the real test of a business relationship. I am pleased to say that with Gary’s involvement these issues were resolved efficiently and to our mutual satisfaction.
We commissioned Noble House in Sept 2010 to prepare a brief to upgrade 145 guest rooms and our public areas. Subsequently we further commissioned Noble house to upgrade our events space and restaurant areas. The consultation process was exceptional with the principals involved from day one. The sensitive nature of appropriate design for the building, and the guidance shown by the leadership team, was exceptional. We were hosted with Directors in China to view the mock up rooms and installation, which was project managed by Noble house, was delivered on time with minimal defects.
The daily onsite meeting and the professional approach of this team was outstanding as was the high level of integrity. I have not seen such a seamless delivery of inspiration, activation, and implementation to this high standard in my 40 years in the industry.
So did it work? Well we landed an excellent product, which we marketed as the “Renaissance of Royal on the Park” and “Where Elegance returns”. The hotel won in 2012 the best redeveloped hotel in the Queensland Hotels Association awards, The walnut restaurant won best tourism restaurant in the Queensland tourism awards .And the hotel won best sustainability award two years running.
The entire project was delivered, including public areas for under 16k per room and l am very happy to provide this endorsement of the Noble house team Gary, Kay and Angela.
